Job Title: PAE( Platform application engineer)
Work Location: Shenzhen

Business Group Overview:
Intel DHG(Digital Home Group) is one of the largest and fast-growing groups in
 Intel. Its products include the high-level STBs, consumer PCs and other consu
mer electronic products. The strong engineering teams are making best efforts 
to develop powerful and advanced products based on Intel's powerful processors
 to make Intel the No.1 consumer electronics supplier and leading company both
 in China and global market. 

Job responsibility:
As a PAE( Platform application engineer), you will have chance to touch the In
tel newest processor for consumer electronics and the whole embedded system fo
r the high-level STB. Your responsibility will include but not restricted with
 following: 
1. Port open source projects from desktop linux system onto Intel's CE linux p
latform;
2. Define develop different type of CE STB products prototype focusing on the 
software, and integrate the above projects into this product prototype;
3. Validate the above ported projects, the product prototype, and Intel's PDK 
software package which is released by Intel engineering team;
4. Help to do some lab daily operation and logistic work.

Requirements:
1. Major in EE or CS or Software related majors, and must be very strong on th
e computer and software basic knowledge;
2. Familiar with the C language, and have much experience in it. He must have 
at lease 2 open source projects developing working experiences on linux platfo
rm. Be able to use the following software technologies easily:
   a. GNU Make system;
   b. Autoconf, automake and libtool;
   c. Bash Shell script programming;
   d. Basic version control conceptions.
3. Embedded project experience, especially the video/audio processing related;

4. Patient and good team-work spirits;
5. Good on oral and written English.
6. Should be post graduate student and could work in Intel Shenzhen DHG lab 4 
days in one week at least.
