Position & Title: Senior Embedded Vision Software Engineer

Location: Wai Gao Qiao Free Trade Zone, Shanghai.

I	Overall Responsibilities
Serve as one of the key technical experts for industrial robotics vision softw

are development

II	Principal Accountabilities
	DSP-based vision software development.
	Coordinate & guide hardware engineer within the project team
	Proposals for projects in the future that can bring benefits to ABB r

obotics
	Document the results of R & D activity through patent applications, t

echnical reports and publications

III	Requirements
	PhD or M Sc. but with 3+ year working experience.
	Depth knowledge of image processing algorithm.
	Familiar with TI DSP software design and testing using C/C++/assembly

 language.
	Familiar with Visual studio software development environment.
	Knowledge and experience in robotics would be a plus.
	Good interpersonal and communication skills. (Must be able to communi

cate effectively both in written and oral English in a global team.). 
	Self-motivated and capable of working independently on extended assig

nments.
	Teamwork spirit with demonstrated ability to work in a global team.

Position & Title: Software Engineer

Location: Wai Gao Qiao Free Trade Zone, Pudong district, Shanghai.
 

I	Overall Responsibilities
Serve as one of the key technical experts for industrial robotics software rel

ated architecture/components development

II	Principal Accountabilities
	System analysis & design for robotics application software architectu

re
	Transformation from customer requirements to software functionalities


	Coordinate & guide software engineer within the project team
	Take on the leading role both for software development and robotics a

pplication knowledge
	Worked as an expert in using ABB development tools such as RobotStudi

o API or Robot Application Builder; Share these knowledge with other colleague

s
	Develop & Improve internal software development procedures
	Proposals for projects in the future that can bring benefits to ABB r

obotics
	Document the results of R & D activity through patent applications, t

echnical reports and publications

III	Requirements
	M Sc or above. But with 3+ year working experience in software indust

ry is required.
	Has architecture design and OOA/OOD experience on automation producti

on. Familiar with UML is preferred.
	Familiar with C++, C# or Java.
	Solid knowledge of the software development process, e.g. XP, Iterati

ve development.
	Familiar with Software Capability Maturity Model (CMMI).
	Knowledge and experience in robotics would be a plus.
	Good interpersonal and communication skills. (Must be able to communi

cate effectively both in written and oral English in a global team.). 
	Self-motivated and capable of working independently on extended assig

nments.
	Teamwork spirit with demonstrated ability to work in a global team.
