In China, Prysmian has enjoyed a well established presence with 1 trading company, 4 manufacturing plants and 1,000 employees supplying a wide range of power, telecommunication and special cables as well as accessories for joining and terminating power cables. Since 1999 when Prysmian set its first step in China, it has enjoyed its steady market expansion and business growth. In 2006, Prysmian China exhibited its solid financial position with 1.2 billion Rmb in sales. With the strong technical and management support from Prysmian Group worldwide, Prysmian China has become a leading player in China’s cable and systems industry.
